Joan Miró (1893-1983) Une Suite pour Man Ray, from La Logique Assassine (Not in Mourlot) The rare set of seven lithographs printed in colours, 1973, from the edition of unknown but presumably small size, the intended edition of 100 was never completed, published by Luciano Anselmino, Paris, on fibrous Japon paper, each sheet dyed a different colour, loose as issued, in the original printed paper folder, overall 515 x 378mm (20 1/4 x 14 7/8in) (7) (portfolio) This suite comes from the album 'La Logique Assassine'. In 1973, Milanese publisher Luciano Anselmino asked several artists, Joan Miró amongst them, to collaborate on a gift for Man Ray on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
