IRAN Isfahan, made of wool velvet on a silk backing, decorated with a polychrome scroll pattern of slender palmette stems, stylized flowers, and foliage, adorned with a large central medallion in orange-brick, turquoise, and ivory in the shape of a stylized diamond, and four Prussian blue spandrels decorated with a mosaic of finely drawn flowers.
