Flat, tapering body with long spout containing a wick, domed stepped lid with screw-out ball finial, curved handle, foot with moulded rim, plain surface. The story was written down in 1709 by Hanna Diyab from Aleppo for Antoine Galland, who published it in 1712 in his French edition of "Tausendundeine Nacht".
