Marine pilot's watch by Mühle-Glashütte GmbH Nautische Instrumente und Feinmechanik, reference M13000, edition number 106. Bezel with tachymeter scale, crown, lugs and back screwed, sapphire crystal (per guarantee certificate), water resistant to 10 atm. Black dial marked 'NAUTISCHE INSTRUMENTE MÜHLE GLASHÜTTE/SA' and 'AUTOMATIC 100 M', fluorescent Arabic numerals and dot minute track, white-framed date aperture at 3 o'clock. Fluorescent lance hands and centre seconds with luminous dot. The case back engraved 'MÜHLE – Glashütte/Sa. · M13000 · 106 · ALL STAINLESS STEEL · 100m WATERRESISTANT · MADE IN GERMANY' with windmill logo. Automatic movement, probably ETA 2824-2. Watch runs. Black, grained leather strap with light stitching and folding clasp with safety catch. With wooden box with maker's plaque and guarantee certificate (sales certificate no. 0106, retailer Hohenberger, Marktredwitz, sold August 1997). Very good used condition. H. 15 mm, D. 40 mm (without crown), strap length approx. 23 cm, box 9.5x13x7 cm (WxDxH). Mühle-Glashütte GmbH was founded in 1994 by Hans-Jürgen Mühle and continues a family tradition of manufacturing nautical instruments and precision measuring devices established in Glashütte in 1869 – 'Nautische Instrumente und Feinmechanik' is the official company suffix. The Marine-Fliegeruhr is one of the house's early limited wristwatch editions of the 1990s; edition number 106 on the case back corresponds to number 0106 of the accompanying sales certificate.
