Two-storey doll's house with open front, light natural wood frame and red-painted gable roof. The outer side walls covered with grey rubble-stone paper, the hardboard back wall with two blue-framed window inserts. Inside four rooms on two floors with walls finished in light green and cream, turquoise floors and a spiral staircase between the storeys. Built-in electric lighting with ceiling lamp, cable routing and switch on the back wall. Extensively furnished, the furniture predominantly of plastic: kitchen with dresser and stove, living room with upholstered suite and wall unit, bathroom with tub and washstand, bedroom and children's room with beds and cupboards, plus tables, chairs, lamps, carpets and several doll's house figures. Played with. 57x73x35.5 cm. Doll's houses of this type are among the most popular testimonies to the West German nursery of the post-war years: the plain wooden frame, the shallow-pitched roof and the open front follow the model of the contemporary detached house and replaced the tall, dark doll's rooms of the pre-war period. Collectors particularly seek the period furnishings in the scale of the 1960s and 1970s, which reflect the living style of the economic miracle years in miniature. Electric lighting was at the time a feature of the better models.
