Märklin Museum Mercedes-Benz W196 Racing Car in Red, Metal, Clockwork Metal racing car model by Märklin in red, a reproduction presumably of the Mercedes-Benz W196 as a single-seater with Mercedes star and spoked wheels, clockwork drive. The upper side bears the red "märklin museum" emblem. Played with, without key. For years Märklin has been issuing reissues of the classic large metal cars from its own museum, continuing the tin toy tradition of the company from the 1930s. The red museum model of the W196 corresponds in construction and mechanism to the silver model and is aimed at collectors of historic Märklin automobiles.
