Schuco Studio II Auto Union, Steerable Racing Car in Red, Clockwork Schuco racing car "Studio II Auto Union" of lithographed tinplate with clockwork, red, marked on the underside "Schuco", "Studio II", "AUTO UNION" and "Schuco Germany". Reproduction of the Auto Union Grand Prix racing car of the 1930s, steerable via the steering wheel, wheels removable by central fastener. Included are the crank handle and, as a separate leaflet of the classic Studio series that does not belong to this model, an instruction sheet "Das lenkbare Fahrschul-Auto"; no tool is included. The function has been tested and is given. Played with. The Studio II Auto Union is not a pre-war toy but a Schuco model newly created in the late 1990s in the style of the classic Studio series; its prototype is the Auto Union Grand Prix racing car of the 1930s.
