Märklin 3329 electric locomotive class 191 099-1 of the DB, metal, gauge H0, orig. packaging Electric locomotive of gauge H0 by Märklin, article number 3329, model of class 191 of the German Federal Railway with the running number 191 099-1. Three-part metal cast body, painted dark green with a grey roof and red spoked wheels, wheel arrangement C'C' with inclined rod drive, two pantographs. In original packaging, the box with storage marks. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. Played-with condition. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. From 1922 the German Reichsbahn ordered heavy goods-train electric locomotives of the wheel arrangement C'C' for mountain service; from 1925 to 1929, 46 machines of the E 91 and E 91.9 types were built, used in Bavaria, on the Geislingen incline and in the Silesian network. From 1968 the German Federal Railway listed them as class 191. Of all machines, the 191 099 reproduced here was the last of the class to be withdrawn, on 27 November 1975; it was preserved as a museum locomotive and belongs to the collection of the DB Museum. Märklin manufactured the all-metal model from 1986 to 1994.
