Märklin 2880 coach for retinue and travel commissary, King Ludwig train, H0 Bavarian court train coach 'coach for retinue and travel commissary' of the Märklin brand from the series 'Der König-Ludwig-Zug', gauge H0. Version in blue with gold-coloured decorative lining and finely designed windows. Played-with condition. In original packaging with the print 'Der König-Ludwig-Zug', box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The King Ludwig train reproduces the court train of the Royal Bavarian State Railways with which King Ludwig II travelled. Märklin issued the elaborately designed coach set in the early 1990s; the saloon and observation cars are modelled on prototypes which can be seen in the Transport Museum in Nuremberg.
