Cast body, painted dark red, streamlined cladding on locomotive and tender, tender housing made of plastic, wheel arrangement 2'C1', twin-light headlamp signal at the front. In original packaging, the box with storage marks. The electrics respond (light illuminates, motor hums), however the drive is seized and gummed up due to the long period of standing; servicing and cleaning are required. Played-with condition. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. Class 03.10 was created from 1939 as a three-cylinder further development of class 03. 140 machines were planned; due to the war only 60 were built by 1941 by Borsig, Krupp and Krauss-Maffei. They received a full streamlined cladding and were initially delivered in 1939/40 in wine red, before some were repainted black; they were originally approved for 150 km/h. Märklin had the model in its range from 1971 to 1989; the dark red version takes up the early wine-red delivery condition and marks the last series manufactured from 1985.
