Märklin Digital Central Unit 6020 and Control 80 no. 6035, gauge H0, orig. packaging Two devices of the Märklin digital system for gauge H0: the Central Unit with the article number 6020 and the control panel Control 80 with the article number 6035. Both devices in original packaging. Played-with condition. With the Central Unit 6020 digital control began at Märklin in 1984/85. The device itself has no operating elements: it converts the driving commands in the Motorola format and manages up to 80 locomotive addresses as well as 256 solenoid accessories, while operation takes place via plugged-in control panels. The Control 80 performs exactly this task, its rotary control selecting each of the 80 addresses. Both devices belong to the first system generation and were later replaced by the Control Unit 6021 and the Control 80f.
