Märklin set of approx. 70 K-track, two turnouts and electronic 6600, gauge H0 Set of model railway accessories of gauge H0 by Märklin. Included are around 70 K-track sections of various lengths, straight and curved, two turnouts as well as a controller Märklin electronic 6600. Two items are in original packaging. Played-with condition. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The K-track, in the range since 1969, was Märklin's answer to the desire for more realistic layouts: unlike the older M-track with its stamped tinplate roadbed, the profiles rest on plastic sleepers without a roadbed, so that the track can be laid freely and ballasted. In addition there were, for the first time, bendable flexible tracks and considerably more elongated, more prototypical turnouts with an initially movable, later fixed frog. An important dating feature is the rail profile: until 1982 the profiles were hollow, after which Märklin switched to solid profiles of stainless steel, which are considerably more in demand today. The enclosed controller electronic 6600 belongs to the analogue device generation that Märklin offered before the introduction of the digital system in 1984.
