Märklin H0 anniversary set 0050 - 50 years of Märklin H0, in orig. packaging Anniversary set '50 years of Märklin H0' (art. 0050) in original packaging with two nostalgic trains in tinplate construction: a steam locomotive with tender and passenger coaches as well as an electric locomotive with goods wagons, plus commemorative medals. Function of the electric locomotive tested and present; on the steam locomotive the electrics respond (light on, motor hums), the drive is seized due to the long period of standing (gummed up), servicing and cleaning required. Played-with condition, box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. Märklin brought out gauge H0 in 1935. For the 50th anniversary the set 0050 appeared in 1985 with reproductions of the historic tinplate railway of the early years - a homage to the early days of the model railway, which is listed by collectors as a nostalgic edition.
