Märklin anniversary set 0050 50 years of gauge H0 with two train sets and coins, 1985 Anniversary set, gauge H0, by Märklin, article number 0050, '50 years of Märklin H0' from 1985. The collector's set contains two nostalgic train sets as well as coins/plaques in special packaging. Played-with condition: on the locomotive with tender the electrics respond (light on, motor hums), however the drive is seized due to the long period of standing (gummed up), servicing and cleaning imperative; on the green locomotive the function has been tested and is present. The box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. In 1985 Märklin celebrated '50 years of H0' - size H0 had been introduced in 1935 as 'gauge 00'. For the anniversary elaborate collector's sets with nostalgic models and enclosed medals appeared, which are sought after by collectors today.
