Märklin gauge H0 steam locomotive with two passenger coaches, gold-coloured version Train set, gauge H0, by Märklin, consisting of a small steam locomotive in the style of the state railways and two two-axle passenger coaches, the gold paint was sprayed on afterwards. Played-with condition. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The firm Gebr. Märklin, founded in Göppingen in 1859, brought out its first table railway of size H0 in 1935 and shaped this gauge for decades. The prototype of the set are the passenger trains of the state railway era, as they ran with the individual state railways before the German Reichsbahn was founded. The gold-coloured finish was applied later in the model railway trade and makes the set a decorative display piece.
