Märklin 3101 steam tank locomotive SNCB series 96 in green, gauge H0, orig. packaging Steam tank locomotive of the Märklin brand, article number 3101, series 96 of the Belgian State Railways SNCB, gauge H0. Version in green with a black smokebox area, red decorative line and the lettering '96 002'. Played-with condition. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. In original packaging, box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The model reproduces a steam tank locomotive of series 96 of the Belgian State Railways SNCB with the running number 96 002 in green livery. The Belgian series 96 derives from the Prussian T 12, a 2-6-2 passenger tank locomotive that passed to the Belgian State Railways after the First World War. Märklin produced model 3101 as an export version of its class 74.
