Two scratch-built electric locomotives BLS 255 on a Märklin basis, gauge H0 Two scratch-built electric locomotives, gauge H0, using Märklin parts. Both models are modelled on the prototype of the BLS (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Railway) and lettered 'BLS 255'; one locomotive is painted brown-red, the other green. Two pantographs each, metal body and metal running gear. Played-with condition appropriate to age. The locomotives have been tested and are working. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The BLS (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Railway) is known for its powerful mountain electric locomotives, whose brown-red livery served as the prototype for many models. Scratch-built models based on Märklin parts were created among skilled model railway enthusiasts and are unique pieces.
