Played-with condition. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The V 200 was the first large diesel locomotive of the German Federal Railway and from 1953 became the flagship of passenger train service. Märklin listed the model under article number 3021 for decades. The observation car with its glazed cupola and the dining cars of the DSG (Deutsche Schlafwagen- und Speisewagengesellschaft) point to the superior long-distance service of the 1950s and 1960s.
