Märklin 4 steam locomotives HR 800 class 01, T 790 ('T 800') and 81004, gauge H0 Set of four steam locomotives, gauge H0, by Märklin. Included are the express locomotive HR 800 (class 01) without tender, the blue-grey tank locomotive T 790 with the lettering 'T 800' as well as two locomotives with the designation 81004. Bodies and running gear of metal, three locomotives black, the T 790 blue-grey. The HR 800 shows the post-war version (HR 800 N) with round lamp brackets and applied boiler pipes. The function has been tested: on both 81004 it is present; on HR 800 and T 790 the electrics respond (light illuminates, motor hums), however the drive is seized and gummed up due to the long period of standing. Played-with condition, with signs of ageing. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The HR 800 belongs to Märklin's 800 series (from 1938) and reproduces the express locomotive of class 01 with tender. The present locomotive is the post-war version HR 800 N with round lamp brackets and applied pipes, built 1947 to 1952 (Koll's Kompaktkatalog Märklin 00/H0, 1983, HR 800 N, variants 6–8). The blue-grey tank locomotive is the T 790 with the lettering 'T 800' and a hand switch on the boiler, which Märklin built in this colour in 1949 and in black in 1950 (ibid., T 790, variant 1). The two locomotives 81004 are model 3031 after class 81 of the DB in the version of 1959 to 1962 (ibid., no. 3031, variant 1). The three tank locomotives have been recorded in the consignor's collection index since 1982.
