Trix Express VT 08 three-part diesel railcar of the DB, red/silver, H0 Three-part diesel railcar of the Trix Express brand, class VT 08.5 of the German Federal Railway, gauge H0. Consisting of power car, centre car and driving trailer car in red and silver. Played-with condition. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The VT 08.5 was available to the German Federal Railway from 1952 for superior long-distance traffic; the softly rounded train ends earned the railcar the nickname 'Eierköpfe' (egg heads). As one of the flagships of the early Federal Railway, the VT 08 is a popular prototype with collectors.
