Märklin 00 (H0) two passenger coaches 341 and MITROPA sleeping car 343, 1935 Group of coaches, gauge 00 (H0), by Märklin: two green passenger coaches (341) and a sleeping car (343) in the red livery of the MITROPA. All three coaches with claw couplings and end walls closed at the top. Played-with condition, with signs of ageing, soiled. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The MITROPA (Mitteleuropäische Schlafwagen- und Speisewagen-Aktiengesellschaft) operated the sleeping and dining cars in German traffic for decades; Märklin reproduced the red coaches in H0. The express coaches 341 and the sleeping car 343 with claw couplings and end walls closed at the top correspond to the first version of 1935 (Koll's Kompaktkatalog Märklin 00/H0, 1983, no. 341 and 343, variant 1). From 1936 the coaches received a cable opening in the end wall, from 1940 bar couplings. Recorded in the consignor's collection index since 1982.
