The function of the locomotive has been tested and is given. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The TT 800 appeared in the early 1950s and was built in several versions until 1956, after which it was continued as the 3096 under the new numbering scheme. The prototype is Class 86, a goods train tank locomotive of which around 775 examples were built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn between 1928 and 1943; at home on steep gradients and branch lines, it remained in service with the Deutsche Bundesbahn until 1974.
