Märklin SK 800 streamlined steam locomotive class 06 with tender and spare body, gauge H0, 1946–1953 Streamlined steam locomotive with tender of the Märklin brand, type SK 800, class 06, gauge H0. Version in black with silver decorative stripes. Post-war version of 1946–1947 with four domes. Enclosed is the body (locomotive and tender, without chassis) of a later SK 800 with three domes and externally mounted handrails, almost as new and unused. Played-with condition. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. One in original packaging, box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The type SK 800 reproduces the streamlined express locomotive of class 06 and belongs to the classic Märklin 800 series (from 1938). Märklin introduced the SK 800 in 1939. The present piece in its original box corresponds to the black version of 1946 to 1947 with four domes and probably cast-on handrails (Koll's Kompaktkatalog Märklin 00/H0, 1983, no. 3007, variant 7); from 1949 the model had three domes. The die-cast zinc machine has three driven axles. The enclosed, unused body does not belong to this version: with three domes and externally mounted handrails it comes from a later SK 800; the handwritten code '1007.11' inside the body is the consignor's collection index designation of the version of 1952 to 1953 (Koll variant 11). Recorded in the consignor's collection index since 1982.
