Märklin gauge H0 electric locomotive RE 800 of the SBB Re 4/4, green, 1950s Electric locomotive RE 800 of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), gauge H0, by Märklin in metal construction, after the prototype of the Re 4/4 class. Green livery with a silver-grey roof and two pantographs, embossed lettering 'MÄRKLIN (RE 800) 20 Volt' as well as 'SBB CFF'. Played-with condition, the locomotive's function has been tested and is present. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The RE 800 reproduces a bogie express locomotive of the Re 4/4 class of the SBB and was Märklin's first bogie locomotive (production 1950-1954). A sought-after model of the 800 series.
