Märklin gauge H0 high-speed railcar train ST 800 four-part, cream-green, 1951–1954 Four-part high-speed railcar train ST 800, gauge H0, by Märklin in metal construction. Cream-green livery with a streamlined power car, two pantographs as well as two centre cars and an end car. Played-with condition, probably repainted, the locomotive's function has been tested and is present. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. Märklin introduced the high-speed railcar train ST 800 in 1948, initially in red; from 1949 the two-tone versions in ivory-red, ivory-blue and ivory-green followed. The three-part train could be lengthened with a centre car. The present piece is the four-part set in ivory-green, consisting of the version of 1951 to 1954 and the centre car ST 800 MT (Koll's Kompaktkatalog Märklin 00/H0, 1983, no. 3017, variant 9, and ST 800 MT, variant 4). Recorded in the consignor's collection index since 1982.
