It is one of the four fraternities from which the Schwarzburgbund emerged in 1887; the association took its name from the place of the meeting in Thuringia. A precursor was the Viererbund (league of four) formed in 1885 of Sedinia, Uttenruthia Erlangen, Tuiskonia Halle and Nordalbingia Leipzig. The fraternities of the league fence no Mensuren and are Christian in orientation; the principles of 2006 name, among others, Christianum, Lebensbund and scholarship. In the dedication “s. l. Lbfx” stands for “seinem lieben Leibfuchs” (to his dear Leibfuchs), “z. fr. Erg.” for “zur freundlichen Erinnerung” (in friendly remembrance) and “W. S.” for the winter semester. The Leibverhältnis between Leibbursch and Leibfuchs often extends beyond the Fuchs period and can be the basis of a lifelong friendship.
