JOURNAL OF MILITARY HISTORY. One of the most important military history journals of the postwar Russian émigré community. Primarily devoted to the history of the Russian army, World War I, and the Civil War, as well as to the preservation of the Russian diaspora’s military historical memory. Published in Paris since 1953. A collection of 33 issues covering the period from 1954 to 1976, followed by 26 duplicate issues from the same period, as is. VOENNO-ISTORICHESKIY VESTNIK. “Voenno-istoricheskiy vestnik” is one of the most significant military-historical publications of the Russian émigré community in the postwar period, devoted primarily to the history of the Russian army, World War I and the Civil War, as well as to preserving the military-historical memory of the Russian diaspora. The journal began publication in Paris in 1953 as a publication of the Society of Lovers of Russian Military Antiquities. It carried on the tradition of the journal *Russian Military-Historical Bulletin*, the last issue of which was published in 1952. This collection includes issues from 1954 to 1976: 1954: No. 4; 1955: Nos. 5, 6; 1956: Nos. 7, 8; 1957: No. 9 (3 copies), 10; 1958: No. 11 (2 copies), 12 (2 copies); 1959: No. 13 (2 copies), 14 (2 copies); 1960: No. 15 (6 copies), 16 (2 copies); 1961: No. 17 (2 copies), 18 (3 copies); 1962: No. 19 (3 copies), 20 (2 copies), 1963: No. 21 (2 copies), 22 (2 copies); 1964: No. 23; 1965: No. 25, 26; 1966: No. 27 (2 copies), 28; 1969: No. 33; 1971: No. 37 (2 copies), 38 (3 copies); 1972: Nos. 39, 40 (2 copies); 1973: Nos. 41, 42–43 (2 copies); 1974: No. 44; 1975: Nos. 45–46; 1976: Nos. 47–48. The issues presented are in varying conditions (tears, stains, detached covers). This collection of the *Military History Bulletin* covers the years 1954–1976 and includes a significant portion of the publication, from the early postwar period through the final years of its existence. The issues from 1957–1963 and 1971–1976 are particularly well represented. The collection reflects the main stages in the journal’s editorial history: the period under M. V. Golubev (Nos. 8–12), the long period under the editorship of Yu. A. Toporkov (Nos. 13–36), the editorship of S. P. Andolenko (Nos. 37–41), and then the final stage associated with I. I. Bobarykov and L. O. Bek-Sofiev. This collection allows readers to trace not only the evolution of the journal’s subject matter but also the succession of generations of Russian military historians and representatives of the military émigré community. Of particular value are the issues from 1971–1973, which featured military-historical and memoir-based materials on World War I, Russian military units in France, military decorations, and the history of regiments. These publications establish the *Military-Historical Bulletin* as an important source on the history of the Russian army and the military-historical memory of the Russian diaspora.
