MUJICA LAINEZ, MANUEL MUJICA LAINEZ, Manuel.—Three handwritten letters, with an original envelope. Dated May and September 1975, on letterhead from the Argentine Academy of Letters. One of them responds to a letter of condolence sent by the recipient, Professor José María Prados; the other two deal with worldly and literary matters: “As for my forthcoming Spanish book, *The Bewitched King*, not a single line has been written in its notes since I arrived”; “And so life goes on. It would be unfair for me to complain about my own life, since a generous fate has granted me practically everything I could desire...". All are signed MANUCHO. .
