Mechanically printed design using a 26-color printing press reserved for exceptional designs—a technical feat never surpassed—and manufactured specifically for Isidore Leroy in 1877. Dimensions of one strip: 119 x 49.5 cm. The design is 47 cm wide, for a total linear length of approximately 329 cm, which can be installed in several panels. Condition: in fine appearance despite minor imperfections. Each strip is mounted on canvas separately. Exhibition: An identical specimen was displayed at the 1889 Paris World’s Fair.
