Marcel PAGNOL. Childhood Memories. Monte Carlo, Pastorelly, 1957–1958 and 1960. 3 in-12 volumes. Paperback, printed covers (slight oxidation on the covers with spines slightly stained or discolored, but copies remain in fresh condition). Copies from the year of the original publication. Pagnol’s *Childhood Memories* trilogy comprises Volume 1: *La Gloire de mon père* (1957), Volume 2: *Le Château de ma mère* (1958), and Volume 3: *Le Temps des secrets* (1960). An important set of Marcel Pagnol’s memoirs in first edition with dedications. Volumes I and III bear a reprint notation on the cover. Provenance: from the library of Pierre Séjourné. Pierre Séjourné (1930–1993), a Parisian bookseller with a passion for bookbindings, a flutist, and an enthusiast of literature and classical music, frequented both the Parisian artistic and literary circles and the world of the decorative arts and their schools through his uncle, the architect and academician Albert Laprade. Also an author and actor, he devoted himself to writing and performing his own plays, which were staged primarily in the Paris region.
