TUNISIAN WOMEN’S BEAUTY SET Tunisia, circa 1905 Set of three carved wooden containers decorated with gadroons and plant motifs, with hallmarked vermeil mounts: a pear-shaped kohl flask on a shell-shaped pedestal, with a tubular neck fitted with an applicator stopper topped by a fan-shaped motif, and featuring two openwork side handles; the applicator wand is preserved; a jar with a conical lid on three legs, topped with a bird; and a small jar with a conical lid on three claw-shaped legs, also topped with a bird; in good overall condition.
