One with vents and chin straps attached by buttons to the lion-head mask—possibly from Bavaria or Hesse—with its liner. A second one features the number 5 on the front, beneath the visor, along with a manufacturer’s plate from Lieb of Biberach, complete with liner and chin strap. A third one with a very long, symmetrical crest, complete with liner and chinstrap. Shows signs of normal wear and has a patina. German or Alsatian crested helmets with nickel plating. One has ventilation holes, chinstrap attachments shaped like lion masks—possibly from Bavaria or Hesse—and its liner. The second bears the number 5 on the front and a Lieb of Biberach maker’s plate beneath the visor, with liner and chinstrap. The third has a particularly long, symmetrical crest, with liner and chinstrap. Wear from use and patina.
