237 - Set of four porcelain pieces with polychrome decoration: a baluster vase with red, blue, and gold decoration known as “Imari,” with a gilded bronze mount, Japan, 19th century, H. 30 cm; a plate with “Imari”-style floral decoration and scalloped edge, diameter 21.6 cm, Japan, 19th century; a plate with floral decoration on a black background, China, 20th century, diameter 23 cm; and a plate decorated with birds and flowers, Limoges, 1960, diameter 22.5 cm. On this last piece is an inscription reading: “Former Royal Limoges Factory, Louis XV-style decoration adorning a ceremonial piece presented to HRH Princess Margaret on her wedding day, May 1960.”
