A LOOP HANDLED TEAPOT, DING KILN Dimensions: Height 23 cm Wide 14 cm Depth 16 cm Weight: 818 grams A pale-glazed ceramic vessel of rounded, lobed body, with a short projecting spout and an arched, twisted handle spanning the top. The body is decorated with shallow floral and scrolling motifs that become visible as the light catches the cream-coloured surface. Small applied elements and a flower-like fitting at the handle add a playful note to the otherwise balanced profile. The object's charm lies in the contrast between its broad, rounded container form and the lively movement of the handle, spout and applied details, all unified by the soft, nearly monochrome finish.
