A PORCELAIN TEA BOWL Dimensions: Height 3,5 cm Wide 9 cm Depth 9 cm Weight: 123 grams A small porcelain tea bowl of simple rounded form, the interior and exterior covered in an even pale glaze and finished at the rim with a fine brown line. The shallow well and restrained profile give the vessel a quiet, functional elegance without painted ornament. Its appeal rests on proportion, surface and the subtle contrast between the soft white glaze and darker rim. The absence of elaborate decoration focuses attention on the tactile qualities of the small form.
