FALANGCAI VASE WITH FLOWER AND BIRD PATTERN Dimensions: Height 13 cm Wide 10 cm Depth 10 cm Weight: 375 grams A small Chinese porcelain falangcai vase decorated with a graceful flower-and-bird design against a brilliant yellow-green enamel ground. The rounded body rises to a short neck and is painted with flowering branches, birds and Chinese inscriptions, enlivened by soft pink, green and deeper enamel tones. Its luminous background makes the delicate pictorial details stand out with unusual clarity.
