A TIBETAN BRONZE AMULET DEPICTING SHADAKSHARI LOKESHVAR 16TH CENTURY Dimensions: Height 4 cm Wide 3,5 cm Depth 0,5 cm Weight: 24 grams A sixteenth-century Tibetan bronze devotional amulet depicting Shadakshari Lokeshvara, the four-armed form of Avalokiteshvara associated with the sacred mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. The bodhisattva is seated within a circular frame above a small lotus throne, with the multiple arms arranged around the central body in a compact relief composition. A suspension loop at the top reveals the pendant's practical function as a portable sacred image. Dark brown and green patination enriches the surface and brings out the closely worked details. Combining protective symbolism, Buddhist iconography and intimate scale, this Tibetan bronze amulet is an appealing example of Himalayan devotional metalwork.
