PHOTOGRAPHY. English. "Hyde," Michael MATTHEWS Koos Breukel In very good condition. Note: This book is the result of a collaboration between photographer Koos Breukel and poet-performer Michael Matthews, who was living with AIDS. Commissioned by Matthews, the series sensitively documents the progression of the disease until his death. The photographs, accompanied by Matthews’s texts, offer a deeply intimate account of the body’s fragility, dignity in the face of suffering, and the expressive power of the photographic portrait.
