Pierre AMBROGIANI (1907–1985) Colorful Bouquet Color lithograph signed on the plate and not numbered 56 x 40.5 cm Yellowed margins Note: “Colorful Bouquet” is a color lithograph by Pierre Ambrogiani (1907–1985), a major 20th-century painter from Marseille, whose work is deeply inspired by the light and colors of Provence. While his landscapes and rural scenes are particularly famous, flower arrangements and still lifes also occupy an important place in his body of work, offering the artist a prime medium for expressing the full richness of his palette.
