*ASLAN (Gourdon Alain) (1930–2014) Pin Up-Pacer American Motors Jean Charles Automobiles, circa 1980 Original vintage poster 60 x 45 cm Note: A rare advertising poster signed by Aslan, an iconic artist of the French pin-up movement in the second half of the 20th century. Here, his sensual and elegant style is fully expressed through a stylized female figure, with supple curves and a suggestive pose, who dominates the composition. The contrast between the glamorous silhouette and the American Motors Pacer creates an original dialogue between seduction and industrial modernity. The image plays on humor and visual double entendres—a hallmark of Aslan’s work—where femininity becomes a vehicle for commercial appeal. A testament to the advertising aesthetics of the 1970s and 1980s, this poster captivates as much for its graphic quality as for the renown of its creator, who is highly sought after by collectors of pin-ups and French illustration. A rare piece that is both decorative and representative of an era.
