GOLD SNAKE BRACELET Flexible "snake" bracelet in yellow gold (750‰), woven and braided. The head is chiseled, and the eyes are set with red stones. Flexible inner metal band. Made in France, circa 1900. Gross weight: 47.4 g. Note: An elegant bracelet featuring a coiled snake, a recurring symbol in jewelry since the 19th century. The supple, braided links hug the wrist, while the lifelike head, with eyes set with rubies, conceals the clasp. Period: Second half of the 20th century.
