Rectangular box made of red morocco leather over an oak core, with a gilded border featuring small metal studs, a removable handle on the lid, and two bronze hinged closures. 18th century. 10 x 33 x 21 cm. The leather on the lid was originally covered with paper imitating leather. The lower part of the box is also lined with leather; a piece has been cut out in the center, creating a gap. Overall, the piece shows scuffs and signs of wear.
