Royal Navy officer’s saber, original and high-quality mount with a horn hilt featuring large twists, a very high guard decorated with a large shell, as on the pommel, flat blade marked “Coulaux & Frères...”, “O F in an oval,” “G in a circle,” leather scabbard with smooth trim, featuring an uncrowned anchor motif marked “Rouart à Paris” in relief within an oval (blacksmith active from 1825 to 1830), beautifully crafted and from a rare blacksmith.
