75 - Affiche Ancienne Original vintage advertising poster - Meltinger mineralreicher / Meltinger mineral-rich - featuring a Midcentury Modern style illustration by the Swiss graphic artist Celestino Piatti (1922-2007) depicting a stylised blue glass filled with geometric crystal formations and bubbles. Recognised for their healing properties since 1450, the natural springs of Meltingen formed the foundation of Meltinger Mineral- und Heilquellen AG in 1928, which grew into a major local employer famed for its award-winning bottling. However, stricter Swiss food safety regulations forced the company to abruptly cease mineral water production in 1988, leading to its complete closure in 1990 following a corporate acquisition.
