KISLING, Moïse: An extensive collection of correspondence sent by the painter to his friend Bernheim. Four long, signed autograph letters, three letters, two postcards from Kiki (Renée Kisling), and ten telegrams. Kisling’s letters and telegrams were sent from the United States during the war. He discusses their exile in the U.S., his financial difficulties, their plans, and his work. Kiki’s correspondence is from the postwar period in Sanary. A very fine and rare collection.
