STERLE Paris, 1960s “Flower and Butterfly” lapel clip brooch in 950‰ platinum and 750‰ white gold, the insect’s wings paved with 8/8-cut and half-cut diamonds and edged with calibrated sapphires, its head formed of a round faceted sapphire, the flower’s pistil set with a round faceted ruby surrounded by 16/16-cut diamonds, the petals in navette-cut aquamarines. Pins in 750‰ white gold. Signed “STERLE PARIS” and numbered “3919.” Made in France, with the House’s diamond-shaped hallmark. Dimensions: 4.5 x 3.4 cm. Gross weight: 19.1 g. (Scratches, small chips).
