Jacques LENFANT for the Georges LENFANT Workshop, 1960s 750‰ yellow gold curb chain bracelet with textured oval links from the “paillette” series, alternating with smooth, domed oblong gold links. Ratchet clasp and safety hook concealed within a link. Made in France, with the Atelier Georges LENFANT diamond-shaped hallmark. Length: 18.5 cm. “Paillette” link dimensions: 1.4 x 1.6 cm. Weight: 51.1 g. The “Paillette” chain, developed by Jacques LENFANT for the Atelier Georges LENFANT, is emblematic of this great chainmaker’s work. Crafted from round, oval, twisted, or rectangular links, it was used in numerous variations and combinations and produced for many houses on Place Vendôme, such as Cartier, Fred, Mauboussin, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Hermès.
