HERMES Paris - Atelier Georges LENFANT, 1960s “Feathers” lapel clip brooch in 750‰ yellow gold, featuring three intertwined, chiseled feathers. Pins with safety hooks in 750‰ yellow gold. Signed “HERMES PARIS” and numbered “16.672” at the tip. Made in France; diamond-shaped hallmark of the Georges LENFANT Workshop. Dimensions: 4.1 x 3.9 cm. Gross Weight: 18.6 g. The Georges LENFANT Workshop maintained particularly strong ties with the House of Hermès and its worlds. Animal-themed creations are particularly numerous, often taking the form of brooches: bumblebees, fawns, does, woodcocks, ducks, pheasants, squirrels, and even feathers have been depicted in this way. What makes our “Feathers” brooch unique is that it features three intertwined feathers rather than a single feather, making it a rarer design.
