19th-century piece “Fantastic Creature” hinged bangle bracelet in 585‰ yellow gold and 800‰ silver unmarked, embellished with translucent blue enamel on a chased background stylizing scales; the animal’s head and part of its tail are adorned with rose-cut and crown-cut diamonds, some mounted on a straw setting, and its eyes are formed of round cabochon rubies. Opens with tilting hinges; no clasp. Wrist circumference: 16 cm. Width: 2.5 cm. Gross weight: 65.5 g. (Minor signs of wear, small chips, and areas where material is missing).
