LATE 19TH-CENTURY WORKS OF ART A blackened-wood liqueur cabinet decorated with brass fillets and marquetry medallions in the Boulle style, featuring engraved brass scrollwork on a red background, with a dynamic front and resting on four ball-shaped feet. It opens via a drop-down lid and two flaps, revealing an amaranth-veneered interior with two secret compartments containing a set of four bottles and eight liqueur glasses decorated with gilded borders and vine tendrils. Last third of the 19th century Height: 26 cm - Width: 30.4 cm - Depth: 22.5 cm Cracks, minor damage to the veneer, damage to the cabinet. Chips on the glasses and wear on the gilding.
